Something about roasted veggies…I don’t know. More flavor, crispier, smokier… something. And this side dish is no exception. With only 6 ingredients and that includes the beans and mushrooms, this is a snap to pull together.
If you have fancy pants salt and pepper, this is the time to pull them out!
Bring out your flaky salt, your pink Himalayan salt, and your multi-colored peppercorns. After all, along with the garlic, you will be adding, salt and pepper are the flavor boosters of this dish. Does that mean that if you do not have fancy salt and pepper, this dish will not be bursting with freshness? Nope.
Listen, it is just so easy that I am just going to list it below. Yup. That easy:
2 cups each sliced fresh mushrooms and fresh green beans
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp each freshly ground salt and pepper
And here you go: Turn your oven on to preheat at 400 degrees. Combine oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour over the mushrooms and green beans. Gently stir until evenly coated. Place on a baking sheet and roast for 22 minutes.
